By 17 he was already travelling with a Russian country band called "The Country Bandists", who came second in the "European World of Bluegrass Festival" in 2003. Leaving the Russian winter behind, Alexey lived and played for a decade in Israel, where he studied at the prestigious Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, crafting Klezmer and Arabic melodies into his own modern styling. It was here he was given the nickname 'Aletchko'. As he says himself, it reflects his musical personality as a mixture of east and west. In 2010 Alexey formed his first "La Basta" band and, after touring all over Israel and Europe, decided to settle in Berlin in 2013. He took his nickname Aletchko and formed a band under it, as he believes it embodies the inter-cultural fusion he brings through his music.

Christian Varas — guitar

Christian Varas is a sensual guitar player from Chile. It forms as a sticky secretion where the bark is wounded and hardens in the air into lumps of varying colour and texture — from pale, amber-like gold copal to milky-white or greenish variants, depending on the species and region.

Burned as incense, copal releases a bright, resinous-sweet scent with citrus and faintly woodland notes, noticeably fresher than heavier resins like frankincense. During the hot summer months, the resinous leaves of these shrubs exude a fragrant substance that was traditionally combed out of the coats of grazing goats and sheep — one of the more unusual harvesting methods in the history of incense.

Burned, labdanum develops a rich, complex scent — warm, amber-like, faintly animalic, and deep, with leathery and musky undertones.
