Music is my passion and my life's purpose, expressed in many forms of my musical work: on cello, piano, double bass, guitar and with my voice. In recent years, composing has become my most important means of expression. The greatest influences in my life have been my training at the music school in Odessa, as well as the encounters and work with many wonderful artists who have accompanied, inspired and challenged me. Love and life itself are, for me, the source of creation in which I am allowed to take part, and which I continually transform into music. I am currently working on my opera, which I have been composing for six years and which is based on Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

Mia Bodet — violin, piano, vocals

Mia Bodet (b. 1990) is a violinist, pianist and performer who composes and improvises music for theatre and film projects. It is found throughout the Northern Hemisphere and characterises dry, sandy or rocky landscapes. Its needle-like leaves grow, depending on the species, in bundles of two, three or five. Pines can live to a great age and reach heights of up to 40 metres. Their resin-rich wood and distinctive, often umbrella-shaped crown make them one of the best-known forest tree species in Europe.

Pine resin is the dried, golden-yellow to brownish secretion that the pine releases as a protective reaction when its bark is injured. When burned as incense, it releases a clear, fresh, resinous-woody scent with slightly citrus-like nuances. It purifies the air, has an invigorating and refreshing effect, and is traditionally used for cleansing spaces, for purification rituals and to strengthen the breath. In shamanic practices it is considered a connecting element between earth and sky.
