Thorbjørn Stefansson is a renowned double bassist in the European improvisation scene, active in Denmark and Germany. His debut album with the trio Dream Big Fish was released in 2024, alongside other projects such as Sun Ark and Precious. He tours internationally and received the JIB Jazz Award for Outstanding Soloist in 2021.
